How to Prepare

Prepare for your appointment

If you are a new client, please sign the liability waiver prior to your session.

At this time, all services are conducted remotely, meaning you will not be physically present with the practitioner. Instead, the practitioner will send healing energy to you from a distance.

  • Video Call. The practitioner will send you an invite using Google Meet or Teams. There will be an opportunity to meet and speak with the practitioner before and after a service.

To help you prepare and get the most from your distant healing session, here are a few suggestions. The body has a natural ability to heal itself, and complete relaxation can significantly support this process.

  • Set an intention. Reflect on what you hope to receive from the healing session or the outcome you wish to attract in your life.

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session.

  • Prepare your environment for relaxation. Here are some ways to create a soothing atmosphere:

    • Light a candle (ensure fire safety).

    • Perform a spiritual cleansing ritual, such as smudging, using incense, or playing singing bowls to clear negative energy.

    • Diffuse essential oils.

  • Eat. Have a light snack or meal before the session.

  • Hydrate. Ensure you are hydrated and keep water nearby to drink if needed.

Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that the services provided are intended to promote relaxation, well-being, and healing. However, I understand that there are no guarantees that these sessions will cure or resolve any current condition I may have.

Energy healing is not a substitute for medical treatment. The practitioner does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, perform medical procedures, or interfere with the care provided by a licensed healthcare professional. I am encouraged to seek the advice of a licensed physician or healthcare provider for any physical or psychological concerns I may have. If I am taking prescription medication, I will continue to do so unless advised otherwise by my healthcare provider. I understand that Reiki can complement, but not replace, any medical or psychological treatment I may be receiving. I also recognize that the body has the natural ability to heal itself, and that relaxation can play a key role in this process.

During or after the session, I may experience:

  • Deep relaxation and a sense of well-being

  • Improved sleep or changes in sleep patterns

  • A feeling of rejuvenation, increased energy, or, conversely, fatigue

  • Temporary emotional or physical discomfort, including sensations related to past injuries or issues

Personal insights, memories resurfacing, or reflections on past events

  • A deeper spiritual connection, or experiences that feel extraordinary

I understand that each individual is unique, and I may experience other effects not listed above during or after the session. I take full responsibility for my experience and agree to release the practitioners and Spiritual Enhancements from any claims, damages, or liability arising from my participation in this or any future sessions.

Reschedule or cancel an appointment

Clients must provide notice before their scheduled appointment time to cancel or reschedule a session.

Reschedule: Clients may reschedule their session at no charge if done more than a week in advance. Within the week, clients are allowed one free reschedule, provided they give at least 24 hours' notice. A $25 fee will apply for any rescheduling within 24 hours or for a previously rescheduled appointment. To reschedule, log into your MindBody account or email Contact@SpiritualEnhancements.com.

Late Arrival: Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for a session may reschedule once at no charge provided they notify Spiritual Enhancements of their delay before the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellation: Clients may cancel their session without charge if they provide notice at least 48 hours in advance. Clients who cancel less than 48 hours before their session will be charged a fee of 50% of the service price. Clients can request a cancellation fee waiver if they cancel due to a medical or family emergency.
